The truck received an amateur frame off restoration a number of years ago.It started out as a xxxx F100 4x4,and the body had seen better days.The cab was replaced with a good 77 cab,and the bed was purchased out of Arizona.Before installing the body,the frame was inspected and cleaned/painted.New leaf springs and body bushings were installed at this time as well.The truck would benefit from a paint job and some small spots on the body are beginning to show their age now,but NOTHING like the typical 73-79 bodies that we are are used to seeing up here.ZERO rust over the rear wheel arches!Bed Floor is straight and solid!!
Mechanically the truck is great.I start it and drive it around almost daily.The rebuilt 360 engine runs strong with excellent oil pressure.With headers and dual flowmaster exhaust,it just sounds MEAN!It has the highly desirable NP435 4 speed manual transmission w/granny low.Shifts through all gears perfectly.
I don't have the tailgate,but I know I can get one for a very reasonable price.
I have many parts available for this truck.
All the lights work...even the interior lights!!You can drive this one home no problem.
If you are looking for a 70s Ford Truck...I guarantee that any truck in this price range will require more work than this one.
Its not a 100 point show truck.It could use some work here and there,but its a good overall solid driver.With very little effort this truck can command big money.Priced to sell.
